Episode 9 - Duel with the Ghoul
Yugi and the others all face what seems to be Kaiba. But no one believes that it
is really him. Yugi accepts the duel with the Kaiba fake. Kaiba went first and
played the Hintosume Giant. Yugi thinks that the fake Kaiba is trying to confuse
him by playing the same monster in their first duel. Yugi destroys the Giant
with the Dark Magician (Kaiba’s LP: 700). The fake Kaiba laughs and plays the
Blue Eyes White Dragon and everyone thinks that this could indeed be the real
Kaiba. Instead of attacking the fake sets a card in the magic/trap section. Yugi
sensing a trap switches Magician to def and summons Curse of Dragon in def. This
give the fake Kaiba to activate the trap card, Defense Paralysis, and has his
BEWD to atomize the Curse of Dragon (Yugi’s LP: 1000). In desperation Yugi plays
Magical Hats. Telling the fake that he only has a 25% chance of finding the Dark
Magician and quote “ the real question is what else is underneath those hats”.
The fake Kaiba fully confident state that he knows where the Magician hides and
orders the BEWD to attack.
