Episode 11 - The Dueling Monkey
After the duel with the dark Kaiba, Mokuba was taken prisoner again. The
group searched for him but with no luck and declare that he is probably in the
castle. Joey sees some cards on the ground and they turn out to be Tristen's.
Joey spots a Lava Battleguard in the pile of cards and Tristan tells him that he
could have it. At this same time Mai is thinking about her defeat from Joey and
is ticked off. Then Rex Rapter appears and challenges Mai to a rematch . Mai
agrees but tells Rex that he must first defeat Joey in a duel. Back with the
group, everyone spots some duelists. Tristan makes a joke about maybe Joey
should be dueling some 3-year-olds. Then Tai says that Joey is just looking for
a dueling monkey. Joey complaining back is stopped by Mai. Mai says he could
prove himself worthy of a duelist by defeating Rex and states that if Yugi helps
Rex will win. Joey accepts but Tristan trys to talk him out. Joey punchs Tristan
and says he has to prove himself. Tristan takes off and the duel begins. Joey
thinks that the Time wizard, baby dragon combo will do the trick. Joey draws
both the cards on his turn and plays a baby dragon in def. Rex plays Two- Headed
King Rex and squashed the dragon. Joey is shocked and plays Leogun to attack,
but Rex says his King Rex gets a power boost and sqooshes the monster. Joey uses
Axe Raider to destoy the King Rex. Rex plays Sword- Arm of Dragon to destroy Axe
Raider. At this time yugi took off too and trys to talk Tristan to come back.
Back at the arena Joey is panicing and sets a Time Wizard and play a Rock Ogre
in def. Rex summons Megazausus and detroys it. Joey plays The Flame Swordsman,
Rex attack but finds out his dinos are destroyed because of the weakness to
fire. Joey bashes from card to card and summons the Swamp Battleguard.Then Rex
play the Serpent Knight Dragon to destroy the swordsman. Joey draws the Lava
Battleguard and that is when Tristan and Yugi get back. Tristan tells Joey to
try that Battleguard out. He does and Rex orders the Dragon to attack the Swamp
Battleguard, but the attack is deflected back at the Dragon and everyone ses
that the red one blocked for the green one. As Joey and Tristan celebrate, Rex
begins a evil smurk on his face
