Episode 1 - The Heart of the Cards
This first episode is actually the first episode from season two of the Japanese series. It starts of by introducing us to the Millennium items, and how a boy named YuGi was able to solve the Millennium Puzzle.
YuGi is teaching Joey how to play the Duel Monster's game, while everyone else in the class is watching except for Kaiba. YuGi's friends include Tristian and Tea(Tay-a).YuGi tells Joey that his grandfather has lots of cards, and a secret card. Kaiba over hears this, and follows YuGi and Joey to the grandfather's store. YuGi asks to see his Grandfather's secret card, and he shows his friends that it is the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Kaiba comes into the store, and wants this card immediately. He offers to trade tons of cards with the grandfather, but he refuses. This causes Kaiba to be come very angry.
Later, Kaiba challenges Grandpa to a Duel monster's game, where Grandpa is easily defeated. Because of this, he begins to have heart problems, and Yu Gi comes to the rescue. He takes Grandpa's Duel Monster's deck and begins to fight Kaiba . His friends bring Grandpa to the hospital, but Joey decides to wait and cheer YuGi on.
Kaiba is able to get his most powerful monsters onto the field, (3 blue eyes white dragons) however, YuGi assembles Exodia which provides an instant win for the person who is able to do so. YuGi tells Kaiba that he beat him using the 'heart of the cards'.
